Today's Update

TRUMP: JOURNALIST DEAD

Investigators are reportedly looking into whether the remains of missing Saudi Washington Post writer, Jamal Khashoggi, were taken from the Saudi Embassy after his alleged murder inside that building. Turkish authorities maintain the journalist was killed and dismembered by a team of 15 Saudis -- with possible ties to the Kingdom's Crown Prince -- and they say they have audio proof. Khashoggi went to the Saudi consulate on October 2nd to get paperwork so he could marry his Turkish fiancée. A new report says two consulate vehicles left the building that same day -- possibly en route to secretly discard Khashoggi's remains. Meanwhile, President Trump now says if Saudi Arabia is found to be involved, consequences will "have to be severe, I mean it's bad, bad stuff. We'll see what happens."

WHO WANTS TO BE A BILLIONAIRE?

The odds of winning are low but the jackpot is massive in tonight's historic Mega Millions drawing. That grand prize has now hit $1 billion and it's still growing. It's the second-largest lottery prize in U.S. history. A single winner -- taking the cash lump payout -- would take home about $565.6 million. The head of Mega Millions says, "this is truly uncharted territory...hitting the $1 billion mark for the first time is historic, and we can't wait to meet the winner(s) who will share in that history."

HEAR HIM "ROAR"

It seems you can take the actor out of "Glee," but taking the glee out of the actor? No way! Darren Criss (whom you Gleeks will recall played Blaine) played a Katy Perry medley at last night's amfAR gala in honor of the singer, who was an honoree. Did he sing "Teenage Dream" as he did back on the show in 2010? Click here to find out! Speaking of all things musical, yesterday was also "High School Musical" star Zac Efron's 31st birthday. He's so not a kid anymore so your secret crush is officially #legit. But if they're not singing and dancing to We're All in This Together, what are they up to? Glad you asked...
