Don't Come Around Here No More

We've heard of bans on fidget spinners, Pokémon cards and electronics, but get this: a Connecticut school district just banned parents from showing up to have lunch with their kids. The school district argues that the growing number of lunchtime visits is a security issue and has become disruptive. Some parents claim they stop by to help their kids -- by opening milk cartons, assisting with social conflicts, or just to sneak in a little one-on-one time. MORE

We want to know what you think: should parents be allowed to join their child for lunch? We asked. You answered. Survey results are below.

Should parents be allowed to stop by during the school day? Only 17% of you support the idea, with one respondent commenting that kids should actually come home for lunch. Half of you think it's okay for birthdays and special occasions, and a third of you believe Mom needs to find some new lunch partners. Thanks to all who participated!
