If only this story were about a reboot of one of our favorite nineties shows... until then, we're talking about "fiver parties" It's a fifth-birthday-party trend where guests are asked to give five dollars as a gift. The pros: it's affordable, no unappreciated gifts and the birthday boy/girl can learn how to save up for something they really want. But not every five-year-old will be hip to the idea, and some say this is turning a celebration into a transaction.
