Chicken & Broccoli Casserole

Ingredients

  •  tablespoon canola oil

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, trimmed

  • ⅓ cup all-purpose flour

  • 4 cups reduced-fat milk, divided

  • 2 (9 ounce) packages precooked brown rice

  • 3 cups broccoli florets

  • 1½ cups shredded reduced-fat sharp Cheddar cheese

  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt

  • ½ teaspoon ground pepper

  • ½ cup store-bought crispy fried onions
